March for Science and Climate

In solidarity with the bigger rally happening in Washington. The Nashville event will begin with a rally at Legislative Plaza. Then there will be a bit of marching around downtown, and then back to the Plaza; I'm not sure if there will then be another rally on the Plaza. After that many people will be heading to the Earth Day Festival in Centennial Park; some people intend to march there (2.3 miles). Watch for Frack Free Tennessee's 50 foot long "Black Snake Pipeline," accompanied by drummers and chanters. If you're marching in a group over that long distance, put a car at each end, so you won't have to walk all the way back.
