World AIDS Day: Zero Stigma, Zero Discrimination

HIV/AIDS continues to ravage communities of color, particularly through stigma and discrimination in the Black church. On Dec 1, a creative collaboration of community stakeholders including Vanderbilt Vaccine Trial Program, Metro Human Relations Commission, Ray of Hope Community Church, and many others will host a free community empowerment event that features: HIV/AIDS testing and resources; AIDS Memorial Quilt; Caribbean Cuisine; Neo-Soul Café and (drumroll please): The incomparable Bishop Yvette Flunder of City of Refuge. Ray of Hope Community Church, 2311 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217.
