A Journey Through Slavery at the Whitney Plantation

The Whitney Plantation, a former indigo and sugar plantation in Louisiana, recently opened as a museum entirely focused on telling the stories of slavery. Dr. Ibrahima Seck has written a book about it and will talk about it 3-4pm; there will be a reception and book signing 4-5pm.
