2018 US Senate Candidate Forum

Tickets are free if you're a member of one of the host organizations, $30 otherwise. I do not know if this will be attended by all the senate candidates on the ballot; I'm guessing the Democratic and Republican nominees will be there. I suspect that the slant of the audience, the moderator, the questions, and the answers will be anything but progressive -- the advertisement says "we will hear from the candidates on the issues that matter to your business and your bottom line," and the hosts are NFIB, Tennessee Business Roundtable, and Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry. I'd guess that these are people who believe that "what's good for business is good for Tennessee" (and it may be evident from my remarks that I do not share that sentiment -- in fact, if I attend I'll be carrying a protest sign -- editor). The event will be at Swang Business Center, Lipscomb University.
