Two years ago Gideon's Army hosted a series of family suppers across North Nashville where we asked the community what their biggest concerns were for their own neighborhoods. Resoundingly the answer at each supper was POLICING. Gideon's Army heard these concerns and then went to work. We formed a diverse team of researchers and over a period of months developed the Gideon's Army Driving While Black report which analyzed racial disparities and impacts of traffic stops in Nashville.

Join us for a follow up conversation on where we are now, 2 years after the report's release. We will discuss the effort for Community Oversight of the Metro Nashville Police Department and how we can build a Restorative Nashville.
