This calendar is privately run by Eric Schechter, at his own expense. It is not officially affiliated with the NPJC E-blast, despite similarities. Send to LeftyMathProf@gmail.com any reports of inaccuracies, and any submissions of new events; include the word "calendar" in the subject line of your email.

What kinds of events: This calendar lists leftish political events, reflecting Eric's own leanings. It does include some material related to service (pulling people out of the river) but is more concerned with activism (stopping the SOB who is throwing them in). Events must have a time and a place, and generally must be near Nashville.

Include in your submission: Category (see color codes at top of page). • Price (generally I don't list expensive events). • Date and time. • Exact location, including street address and zip code. • Parking information, if it's not obvious. • One or two paragraphs describing the event; probably I'll edit that. • Title for the event, but I may edit that too, particularly if it's long or nondescriptive. • Contact information and/or website for additional information. • And if your meetings are on a regular basis (e.g., third Tuesday of every month), say so -- my software has a feature for that.
